Sunday, September 12th -  Primitive Shelter Building
NEW TIME --
10:00 am-11:30 a.m.

Knowing how to construct a shelter can be just for fun, or it  can be a means of protection should you suddenly find yourself faced  with a survival situation.  No tools are needed to build a safe  structure that can keep you warm, dry, and protected from the  elements.  Participants will learn how to decide on an appropriate  location to build a shelter and what materials to collect.  A great opportunity for scout troops, home-schooled families, or other youth groups to participate in a team-building project.

Saturday, October 2nd - Harvest Festival  - Fran will be here for 3 hours- project to be determined

Saturday, October 23rd - Full Moon Coyote Howl Fest 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Come watch the sunset as the moon rises tonight from a great vantage point at the Roe Jan Park.  We'll overlook a field where the coyotes tend to gather for their nightly howl fest.  Participants will be taught to yip and yelp, bark and growl, woof and howl as we try to trick the "trickster" into talking back to us.

Saturday, November 20th - Wild Turkeys 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Families will look for turkey tracks, scat and other signs as we explore the world of turkeys.   Learn the language of turkeys - gobbles, clucks and yelps and make turkey callers.  Find out how you can manage your property to invite turkeys to come for a visit.
