This fall, the Park celebrated the installation of a new Outdoor Fitness Center that may be the first of its kind in Columbia County. This is not simply a fitness trail -- but an outdoor center with 8 pieces of equipment overlooking the Roeliff Jansen Creek
After a brisk Fall walk through the Park, the new fitness cycle will challenge you to get a full workout. The program is designed to allow you to work at your own pace and return home feeling energized and refreshed.

The Park is considered by many cross-country skiiers to be one of the best places to ski when the snow starts to fly.
Our 3 miles of trails, hills and valleys are considered some of the best cross-country skiing territory in the area.

Roeliff Jansen Park Dog Run
For Dog Lovers: When cabin fever strikes and your dog is sitting on your lap while you're trying to read the newspaper (you know that moment) it's time to bring your best friend out to the park and work off that excess energy.
The Park is very dog friendly. Along with miles of trails for a brisk walk, the Roe Jan Dog Run is a 100% fenced area and makes for a great place to throw some balls and meet some new friends.
